Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production software.
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud platform services and infrastructure with emphasis on architecture, integration patterns, and reliability.
  • Drive responsible adoption and validation of approved AI-assisted engineering practices and automation capabilities.
  • Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal technical solutions.
  • Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve operational stability across applications and systems.
  • Partner with platform architecture, trust and authorization teams, and IAM consumers to deliver coherent designs.
  • Lead software engineering communities of practice and mentor and coach engineers through technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Experience with IAM platforms, role-based access control, or entitlement governance at scale.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more of Java, Spring, Go, Python, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
  • Practical cloud-native experience building and operating services on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of application resiliency, security, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
  • Strong technical evaluation, customer-focused decision-making, communication, and audience-adaptation skills.
  • Preferred: experience in financial services or regulated environments, cloud platform or developer platform services, developer experience, platform reliability, or operational efficiency at scale.
