Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers working on machine learning, distributed services, and full-stack systems.
- Deliver solutions that support regulatory needs and robust cloud-based customer experiences.
- Collaborate with digital product managers and mentor members of the engineering community.
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in internal and external technology communities.
- Use programming languages, container orchestration services, configuration-management tools, infrastructure-as-code tools, and AWS services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 4 years of DevOps engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native technologies including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- At least 4 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.
- Preferred: 7+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
- Preferred: 4+ years of coding and scripting experience with technologies such as Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby.
- Preferred: experience with Apache Mesos, Marathon, Apache Spark, Jenkins, Docker, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, clustered web services, and Agile development practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
