Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, analysis, and implementation of complex software solutions delivered through public cloud platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, partnership, and support to software engineers, SMEs, and Tech Leads.
- Develop clean and efficient code and maintain high standards for coding, quality, performance, code reviews, and testing.
- Lead requirements gathering, user-story design, planning, delivery, and delegation of tasks where applicable.
- Translate end-user needs into requirements and understand their impact on current and future roadmaps.
- Lead the migration of assets from AWS to Azure.
- Integrate, redefine, and consolidate structured and unstructured data for analytics solutions.
- Collaborate independently and cross-functionally throughout the software development process.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Validated experience with AWS Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Fargate, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, and Glue.
- Validated experience with Terraform, Datadog, and GitLab.
- Experience with REST APIs and AWS security practices including Secrets Manager, IAM, and Security Groups.
- Ability to understand business requirements and their implications for technology roadmaps.
- Strong communication, presentation, documentation, interpersonal, strategic-thinking, and self-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and priorities.
- Experience with agile development processes including Scrum and Kanban.
