Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, deploy, and continuously improve highly available applications in a 24/7 environment.
- Support the full application lifecycle from deployment through productive operation.
- Analyze and resolve complex production issues and automate operational tasks.
- Improve system reliability, stability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Take ownership of services and collaborate with developers and architects.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and occasional weekend support.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools within a cross-functional DevOps team.
Requirements
- Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Practical knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, or comparable container platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, ownership, and accountability skills.
- Good German and English communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and understanding of end-to-end service responsibility.
- Willingness to investigate complex technical challenges and continuously improve operations.
- Nice-to-have experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Grafana, Prometheus, Ansible, Kustomize, Maven, Java, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Oracle databases, Spring Boot, Apache Camel/Red Hat Fuse, Quarkus, and certificate and secret management.
