Responsibilities
- Lead high-level and low-level architectural design for enterprise-scale applications.
- Oversee the decomposition of monolithic applications into modular microservices while maintaining stability and performance.
- Serve as the technical authority for object-oriented programming principles and J2EE design patterns.
- Design and optimize SQL schemas and data access layers for high-concurrency environments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to improve system reliability and reduce architectural complexity.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in an architect or lead role.
- Proven experience designing and deploying monolithic and microservices architectures.
- Deep expertise creating high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Mastery of Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlets, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Advanced SQL knowledge, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, and complex query optimization.
- Strong command of object-oriented analysis and design and SOLID principles.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud migrations.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: knowledge of NoSQL databases and Kafka or RabbitMQ event-driven messaging.
