Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of secure, reliable, and scalable backend systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple teams and projects.
- Establish and champion coding standards, architectural principles, and technical direction.
- Partner closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with business goals.
- Drive continuous optimization of system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Own complex, high-impact projects and initiatives end-to-end.
- Drive the evolution of developer experience through advanced tooling and observability frameworks.
- Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- Exceptional proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
- Extensive experience architecting complex distributed systems.
- Proven track record designing and delivering mission-critical systems at scale.
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques.
- Deep expertise with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, and complex problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated experience driving technical decision-making and mentoring senior engineers.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
