Responsibilities
- Manage AWS-native services and hybrid cloud environments for highly available, cross-regional IoT backend systems.
- Optimize Kubernetes clusters and edge computing infrastructure for real-time IoT telemetry and predictive maintenance use cases.
- Design CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI for automated testing and deployment.
- Develop Python and Shell tools for data validation, log analysis, cross-region backups, deployment, monitoring, and fault recovery.
- Implement TLS encryption and RBAC policies and conduct security audits for IoT device management systems and API gateways.
- Coordinate with China-based engineering and business teams to align infrastructure with regional requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud operations, preferably with AWS, on million-user-scale platforms.
- Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Strong Python and Shell scripting skills, including automation and RESTful API integration.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
- Experience with Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Athena, or Kafka is preferred.
- Understanding of MQTT, H2, WebRTC, and edge-cloud collaboration is preferred.
