Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated build, release, integration, and testing infrastructure for fixed-income pricing and risk-modeling libraries.
- Support large C++ codebases through dependency upgrades, refactoring, code moves, and other large-scale maintenance activities.
- Manage cross-platform builds and troubleshoot dependency, build-time, and run-time issues on Linux and Windows.
- Manage Jenkins job configurations and develop shell and Python scripts for build management, artifact promotion, and propagation.
- Maintain static and dynamic code-quality, coverage, memory-profiling, debugging, and performance-monitoring tooling.
- Support architecture and coding standards, C++ standards modernization, dependency and obsolescence management, and consistent tooling across the FID analytics portfolio.
- Coordinate work across globally distributed teams and multiple stakeholders while providing daily support for pricing requests and risk-management issues.
Requirements
- Modern C++ development experience, with C++11 required and C++17 desired, focused on large-codebase support and maintenance.
- Experience with one or more C++ build tools such as Bazel, CMake, Premake, make, or Visual Studio/MSBuild, plus build-acceleration tools such as BuildBuddy, IncrediBuild, distcc, or ccache.
- Experience as a build engineer on Linux and Windows, including dependency management and debugging build-time and run-time problems.
- Experience managing Jenkins job configurations.
- Experience with shell and Python scripting for build management and artifact promotion or propagation.
- Experience with static C++ code-quality and analysis tools such as Sonar, cpplint, cppcheck, and clang-tidy, and with code-coverage tooling.
- Experience with C++ dynamic code-quality tools, including Valgrind, sanitizers, and profilers.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and software development life-cycle practices.
- Experience working in globally distributed teams and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with fixed-income derivatives and front-office quant development is desired.
