Responsibilities

  • Lead the Corporate Real Estate and Services technology team and provide regional and global support for real estate systems.
  • Analyze stakeholder requirements and design, plan, and build new tools and applications.
  • Provide technical leadership to junior team members and develop efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, new development, and migration projects.
  • Support in-house and vendor applications, analyze issues, and drive resolution.
  • Maintain the health of owned applications and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead global deliveries and chair meetings and Scrum calls with teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Understanding of system design, object-oriented programming principles, and multi-tier web architecture.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages, with Python and Java used in the team.
  • Excellent PL/SQL programming skills, including query optimization, database design, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, PowerShell, or batch commands.
  • Hands-on experience with Git or GitHub source control repositories.
  • Understanding of private cloud, public cloud, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS concepts.
  • Knowledge of Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, server technologies, web servers or services, Informatica, or Unix scripting is desirable.
  • Exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Nexus, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Zephyr is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and the full software development life cycle is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
