Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and maintain client-facing mortgage applications.
- Build modern applications using Angular and Java Spring Boot.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code that follows development standards.
- Participate in application design, development, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Modernize legacy systems through codebase refactoring and migration to modern architectures or frameworks.
- Interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Angular for frontend development and integrating frontend and backend systems.
- Hands-on experience modernizing legacy systems, including refactoring codebases and migrating to modern architectures or frameworks.
- Experience with Angular and Java Spring Boot for modern web application development.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience using generative AI developer productivity tools is preferred.
- Experience integrating backend services using REST or GraphQL is preferred.
