Responsibilities
- Build and enhance core banking loan servicing platforms.
- Design APIs, backend services, microservices, integrations, and orchestration layers for complex workflows.
- Develop user-facing applications with strong usability and performance.
- Deliver end-to-end applications across frontend, backend, and integration layers.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and own features from design through production support.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams to solve complex banking domain problems.
- Contribute to API-first, cloud, event-driven, application modernization, and operational resiliency initiatives.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted features, automation, insights, and intelligent workflows where appropriate.
- Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and compliant.
- Identify opportunities to use AI development tools to improve delivery efficiency.
- Contribute to engineering quality, continuous improvement, CI/CD, and observability practices.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in backend or full-stack development in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems.
- Experience delivering production-grade applications end to end.
- Solid experience in banking or financial services, including areas such as onboarding, payments, lending, or trade.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with demonstrated ownership and accountability for delivery.
- Ability to work across technology stacks and adapt quickly, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based capabilities, including at the feature level.
- Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, code assistants, or automation tools.
- Familiarity with search, data retrieval, or analytics platforms is preferred.
- Experience with cloud-native or modernization programs is preferred.
- Understanding of event-driven or streaming architectures is preferred.
