Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic AI systems, state machines, search-based conversational systems, and multimodal foundation-model workflows.
- Implement Model Context Protocol servers and clients and integrate agents with data sources and external tools.
- Develop production-ready Python and occasional TypeScript across frontend, backend, and infrastructure tasks.
- Manage DevOps and MLOps lifecycles, including Docker-based containerization, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployment on AWS and multicloud environments.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, statistical analysis, visualization, and data pipeline development.
- Design, customize, optimize, and fine-tune LLM-based and traditional AI algorithms, including classification, clustering, and regression models.
- Develop prompt-engineering strategies and optimize inference speed, latency, caching, and resource usage.
- Implement evaluation, A/B testing, metric pipelines, monitoring, observability, drift detection, and anomaly identification for AI systems.
- Translate technical findings into actionable insights and consult with stakeholders on technology approaches.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering and data science, including exposure to generative AI, agents, and classical ML.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with generative large language models and agents.
- Proven experience managing the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle and deploying models at scale.
- Advanced production-grade Python proficiency; TypeScript proficiency is an advantage.
- Deep expertise with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks, agentic system design, and state-machine logic.
- Practical AWS cloud solution design experience, including familiarity with Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker; multicloud experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of vector, graph, traditional, SQL, NoSQL, and data-lake technologies, including AWS OpenSearch and Snowflake.
- Expertise in API design, CI/CD, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, statistics, data manipulation, synthetic data generation, and feature engineering.
- Ability to define architectural patterns, take ownership, collaborate with enterprise stakeholders, and step into a Tech Lead role when necessary.
- Understanding of bias, fairness, hallucination mitigation, and responsible AI deployment.
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- C1+ English communication proficiency and willingness to occasionally work across the Central European Timezone.
