Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, copilots, agents, and workflow automation solutions.
- Build APIs, integrations, and backend services using Python and application frameworks.
- Create proof-of-concept solutions and prototypes demonstrating emerging AI capabilities and business value.
- Apply prompt engineering, orchestration, grounding, retrieval, and evaluation techniques to improve AI performance and reliability.
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation and enterprise knowledge retrieval solutions.
- Contribute to AI solution architecture, technical design, development, testing, deployment, governance, and documentation.
- Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, analysts, and client teams in agile delivery environments.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and share knowledge across the AI practice.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with proficiency in Python.
- Experience building APIs with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or comparable frameworks.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, including models such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or Mistral.
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI evaluation, testing frameworks, and Responsible AI practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Power Automate, and related services.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, security, and development best practices.
- Ability to engage directly with clients, understand business requirements, and explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Preferred experience with vector databases, semantic search, RAG architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, agent protocols, workflow automation, Azure services, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and AI coding assistants.
- Preferred Azure AI Fundamentals or Azure AI Engineer Associate certification, or personal projects, research, open-source contributions, or portfolio work involving AI agents, copilots, or LLM applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience and demonstrated technical capability.
