Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient software code.
  • Design, develop, deploy, operate, and maintain complex software applications and systems.
  • Manage feature and project execution, including priorities, deadlines, and delivery quality.
  • Participate in architectural design and design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
  • Review code and provide feedback to maintain technical quality and engineering best practices.
  • Build testable software, define tests, and automate testing using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
  • Maintain service health and quality, resolve incidents, analyze root causes, and implement recurrence-prevention measures.
  • Use service health indicators and telemetry to optimize performance.
  • Own software delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, continuous deployment, and production operations in a DevOps model.
  • Document product features, enhancements, fixes, and training materials.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with product management, peers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and JIRA.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
  • Preferred: experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, test automation frameworks, and tools.
  • Preferred: knowledge of agile development methodologies and accessible-solution development.
  • Preferred: strong customer empathy, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
