Base Salary
$140k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and scale backend services for continuous vulnerability detection, CVE correlation, and remediation workflows.
- Develop large-scale Java and Kotlin software applications supporting millions of endpoints and servers.
- Commit code, implement design patterns, and solve enterprise-scale software challenges.
- Build high-availability, mission-critical systems for worldwide operations.
- Apply quality-first development practices and support fellow engineers in maintaining software quality.
- Develop APIs and REST services, relational database functionality, responsive client/server messaging, and scalable data structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of Java software development experience for product applications or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience working with highly scalable software systems.
- Strong Kotlin experience is preferred.
- Experience designing and scaling systems and solving problems at scale.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming design principles and expertise in scalable data structures and object-oriented design.
- Knowledge of API best practices and REST service development using Jersey or Spring.
- Experience with relational database design and development.
- Experience creating both client-side and server-side development for responsive messaging.
- Caching systems expertise; Redis experience is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of quality testing practices.
