Responsibilities

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes.
  • Design, configure, integrate, and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines on Axon’s platform.
  • Build with and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in agency environments.
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, optimize, document, and drive adoption of production solutions with real users and data.
  • Build AI-powered workflows using agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations for defined agency problems.
  • Assess operational workflows, define success metrics and baselines, lead mission reviews and strategic planning, and measure outcomes.
  • Maintain consistent onsite engagement with agency leadership and operators, including command staff.
  • Capture customer insights and reusable patterns for Product and Engineering roadmap decisions.
  • Identify expansion opportunities based on demonstrated impact and partner with Sales on account strategy.
  • Coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services when builds or integrations fail.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping working automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
  • Ability to configure products, write integration logic, and deliver production-ready solutions across technical and operational domains.
  • Comfort working with hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders in mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to own ambiguous, fast-changing work and navigate priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and follow security standards.
  • Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems is preferred.
  • Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or large-scale operational transformation is preferred.
  • Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
