Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead deployment and configuration of software solutions in secure classified environments and integrate systems with engineering and product teams.
- Serve as the main technical contact for government clients and contractors.
- Support the program manager in producing and delivering technical contract CDRLs.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and hands-on support for software bugs, hardware issues, and deployment failures.
- Ensure deployed systems comply with government security standards and regulatory frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to implement secure and scalable solutions.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and security compliance activities.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend operational improvements.
- Support deployments, updates, troubleshooting, exercises, integration events, and training at client locations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in systems deployment, engineering, or operations in highly regulated environments.
- Proficiency administering Linux servers, deploying and maintaining Kubernetes, and troubleshooting Helm charts.
- Experience working in on-premises and cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automation, networking, and task automation using Go, Rust, Python, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience deploying complex systems in cloud or on-premises environments.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and practices, including encryption, firewalls, access control, and identity management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI-eligible security clearance, pass a comprehensive background screening, and meet the U.S. citizenship requirement.
- Must reside in one of the approved hiring hubs: DC/Maryland/Virginia; Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill; Denver/Colorado Springs; or Dallas/Fort Worth.
- Preferred experience includes startup work, DevSecOps tools and practices, and monitoring and alerting systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, Talos Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Istio, Git, GitLab, Terraform, and relational databases.
