Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and analyze business needs with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead development activities using .NET Core, C#, MVC, Web API, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and optimize complex SQL Server database solutions, including stored procedures and queries.
- Implement user interfaces using jQuery, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI.
- Develop and maintain SSIS ETL and data-transformation processes.
- Estimate user stories, perform UI and database design, and maintain code quality through unit testing.
- Manage deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, monitor systems, and schedule jobs.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, release calls, and deployment issue resolution.
- Mentor junior and associate developers and provide technical problem-solving support across the SDLC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in .NET development, including C#, .NET Core, MVC, and Web API.
- Experience with Cursor AI or GitHub Copilot for code generation, debugging, and productivity enhancement.
- Experience working with Agentic AI and MCP Server.
- Strong understanding of specification-first development and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong SQL Server experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Kendo UI, and SSIS.
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Containers, and API Gateway.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience includes mortgage or financial services, large-scale high-volume transactional systems, AI-driven development and QA automation tools, Linux, open-source tools, MySQL, PostgreSQL, software design patterns, refactoring, unit testing frameworks, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
