Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AI-powered developer tools on top of roachdev.
- Build observability and quality-measurement systems for AI agents in production.
- Work with GitHub's API and CI systems to automate engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to roll out new AI tooling and gather feedback.
- Maintain and modernize existing Code Systems services.
- Provide service-minded support to engineers using our tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with strong coding skills in Go and/or Python.
- Genuine interest and hands-on experience with LLMs/AI agents.
- Experience with git/GitHub, including the GitHub API and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and developer workflows.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS) and related services.
- Exceptional communication skills and a service mindset.
