Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AI-powered developer tools for automated code review, CI failure triage, and agentic pull-request automation.
- Build observability, metrics, dashboards, and quality-measurement systems for production AI agents.
- Integrate with GitHub APIs, GitHub Apps, webhooks, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and other CI systems to automate engineering workflows safely.
- Partner with engineering teams to roll out AI tooling, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.
- Maintain and modernize issue synchronization, CLA-checking, and other Code Systems services.
- Provide service-minded support to engineers using internal development tools.
- Contribute to the shared skill library and provider abstractions used by coding agents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with strong general-purpose coding skills.
- Strong Go and/or Python experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI agents, such as prompt engineering, evaluations, tool-calling agents, or AI-assisted developer tooling.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, the GitHub API, GitHub Actions, and/or GitHub Apps or bots.
- Working familiarity with CI/CD systems and developer workflows.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as GCP or AWS and services including Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, or containers.
- Exceptional communication skills, collaboration ability, and a service-oriented mindset.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
