Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development for Transaction Stream payment networks.
- Design solutions for functional and performance requirements and develop full-stack, real-time application features.
- Build and support cloud-native services using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, messaging, event-driven architecture, and caching and persistence mechanisms.
- Ensure quality, performance, information security, and other non-functional requirements are met.
- Guide and mentor development teams and train developers on required technologies.
- Coordinate delivery with business owners, product owners, enterprise architecture, product teams, vendors, and global stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to improve automation, defect metrics, and overall quality, including technology proofs of concept.
- Select the tools, technologies, and design patterns used for services.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, object-oriented design, clean programming, and SOLID design principles.
- Strong experience in product development using digital-native architecture, cloud technology, and Spring Boot, preferably with Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Extensive experience developing online, real-time application features.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and modern caching and persistence mechanisms.
- Ability to analyze business needs and create technical solutions and scalable, reusable components.
- Experience working in an Agile SAFe development environment.
- Ability to guide teams technically and communicate with business, architecture, development, testing, and vendor stakeholders.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and promote AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, accuracy, and quality.
