Responsibilities
- Own complex feature sets and deliver production-grade software end to end.
- Design modular systems, APIs, and workflows that balance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Build frontend and backend implementations in partnership with Product and Design.
- Apply AI-assisted development and prompt engineering while reviewing AI-generated code for correctness and security.
- Write unit and integration tests, implement defensive logic, and reduce escaped defects.
- Participate in root cause analysis, resolve production issues, and improve service reliability and MTTR.
- Document technical knowledge, write RFCs and tickets, and help improve peer engineering capability.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience building, shipping, and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Require hands-on full-stack experience with the MEAN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
- Require practical experience building, deploying, and operating scalable solutions in AWS.
- Require proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering, including rigorous verification of AI outputs.
- Require experience designing clean APIs, refactoring component codebases, and applying standard design patterns.
- Require debugging, unit and integration testing, production issue resolution, and root cause analysis experience.
- Require the ability to clarify requirements, adapt to changing priorities, raise blockers, and collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering peers.
- Prefer experience with IAM, PAM, IGA, or Secrets Management platforms.
- Prefer TypeScript and testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, or JMeter.
- Prefer experience with CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, monitoring/logging frameworks, RAG-oriented documentation, and reusable prompt templates.
