Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test product changes while learning established engineering practices.
- Configure customer solutions using functionality within Datacom’s proprietary low-code platform.
- Work with engineers and product specialists to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.
- Investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and help maintain existing product functionality.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and supporting materials.
- Participate in planning, reviews, delivery activities, and continuous improvement.
- Develop skills in automation, AI-assisted development, and emerging agentic engineering practices.
Requirements
- Around 1–2 years of experience in a technical, analytical, software-related, or IT role, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Genuine interest in software engineering, systems, and technology, with curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and business domains.
- Confident practical experience using AI tools in a professional setting.
- Nice-to-have experience includes databases, data structures, Git, APIs, JSON, XML, enterprise software, business systems, and software delivery practices.
