Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a bounded platform service or SDK component for multi-tenant use.
- Debug distributed services and drive compatibility-safe remediation plans.
- Develop software features, APIs, architecture-aligned services, tests, fixes, and performance optimizations.
- Implement resilience, capacity, observability, maintenance, patching, and service-availability improvements.
- Lead code reviews and team-level improvements to integration frameworks and developer tooling.
- Provide technical guidance on customer-reported issues and advocate for product enhancements.
- Create documentation, samples, adoption guidance, and training processes.
- Coach and mentor colleagues while collaborating across teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to independently design and develop moderately complex software solutions and services.
- Working knowledge of software architecture, software development practices, coding standards, testing, debugging, API integration, and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed-service, API, interoperability, maintenance, and customer issues.
- Experience applying secure coding, quality assurance, monitoring, observability, and reliability practices.
- Ability to manage work independently, collaborate across teams, and guide or mentor others.
- Ability to analyze usage, performance, error budgets, and operational data to improve platform components.
