Responsibilities
- Define the strategy and target-state architecture for foundation platforms.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across private, hybrid, and public cloud environments.
- Maintain architecture and technology roadmaps for service hosting platforms.
- Provide architectural leadership for cloud services across Insurance service domains.
- Guide engineering teams on detailed cloud and on-premises solution designs.
- Create solution proposals, broker agreement across stakeholders, and align technical priorities.
- Translate requirements into actionable architectural artifacts and clearly document complex technical concepts.
- Support the design and continuous improvement of automated software delivery through production.
Requirements
- Experienced professional with enterprise-environment experience and understanding of traditional and modern processes affecting digital transformation.
- Sound knowledge of artificial intelligence and interaction with Large Language Models.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and native services, specifically AWS and GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment and release methodologies, configuration and provisioning at scale, and scanning tooling.
- In-depth knowledge of container-based services such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, middleware, API technologies, hosting patterns, identity and access management, IP networking, firewalls, proxies, performance management, tuning, and serverless technologies.
- Strong experience working with senior stakeholders across business analysis, product ownership, testing, and technical disciplines.
- Ability to define a vision, deliver incrementally, explain complex technical concepts, and produce audience-appropriate documentation.
