Responsibilities
- Own integration of humanoid subsystems into a fully functioning system.
- Propose and lead the development of new software and hardware capabilities.
- Perform software support for system bring-up and troubleshooting.
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Harden and automate robot provisioning and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot low-latency networking and streaming pipelines.
- Build and maintain field tooling and observability for reliability tracking.
- Collaborate on the design of scalable and serviceable systems.
- Travel to customer sites for deployments, repairs, and training.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for robotics software and debugging.
- Experience with Ansible, shell scripting, and Linux.
- Strong understanding of networking for robotics and low-latency streaming.
- Hands-on experience deploying and commissioning robots on site.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to leadership and customers.
- Ability to problem-solve in high-pressure situations.
- Capacity to work independently or in a cross-functional team.
- International travel likely; passport required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software/robotics engineering experience or 4+ years in humanoid or teleoperation domains.
