Responsibilities
- Interface with stakeholders and contribute to requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, solution design, and technical feasibility assessment.
- Create high-quality architecture and design artifacts for SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions.
- Develop and support ABAP applications, reports, interfaces, workflows, forms, enhancements, and custom objects.
- Build and monitor integrations using RAP, AIF, REST, SOAP, OData, IDocs, RFC, and related SAP technologies.
- Analyze and improve system performance using runtime analysis, SQL tracing, system dump analysis, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP and current releases.
- Experience with Eclipse, ADLC, Workflows, AMDP, CDS, BRF+, BOPF, RAP, AIF, APIs, OData, and Adobe Forms.
- Experience creating interfaces and reports, AIF monitoring, service providers and consumers, SRT_UTIL monitoring, inbound and outbound IDocs, IDoc extensions, and DRF.
- Extensive ABAP/4 experience with ALV, OSS Notes, Smart Forms, Menu Painter, user exits, BAdIs, RFC, dialog programming, and the SAP Data Dictionary.
- Experience planning, designing, developing, implementing, and testing scripts, custom reports, user enhancements, dialog programs, custom tables, and match codes.
- Experience supporting customization of Fiori apps and performing ABAP runtime analysis, SQL tracing, system dump analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
- Multilingual proficiency is preferred; English proficiency is required.
- Strong analytical, customer-orientation, communication, initiative, flexibility, and quality-awareness skills.
