Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with enterprise customers and connect requirements to measurable business outcomes.
- Design enterprise-grade data transformation and analytics architectures using dbt.
- Partner with Sales on technical value communication and lead customer evaluations, trials, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Build relationships with data practitioners, leaders, executives, technology partners, and consulting partners.
- Guide customers through architecture, security, governance, deployment, adoption, and expansion considerations.
- Share customer and field insights with Product and Engineering to influence product strategy and contribute reusable practices and thought leadership.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role in data, analytics, or BI.
- Strong technical foundation in SQL, data transformation, ETL/ELT, and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data warehouse, lakehouse, and analytics architectures.
- Ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to establish credibility with stakeholders ranging from data practitioners to senior executives.
- Experience with dbt, analytics engineering, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or other modern cloud data platforms is preferred.
- Experience with dimensional modeling, Kimball, Data Vault, 3NF, Informatica, Boomi, Talend, enterprise evaluations, migrations, or transformation initiatives is preferred.
