Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, and work processes to design software solutions.
- Develop, modify, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software programs and modules.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, resolve errors, and improve system performance and availability.
- Support software installation, upgrades, interface changes, continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Document solutions using specifications, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, reports, and other formal documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, and stakeholders on requirements and project progress.
- Communicate with clients, capture requirements and clarifications, respond to requests, track faults, and support customer satisfaction.
- Prepare timely project status reports, MIS reports, implementation documentation, and delivery updates.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certification activities to maintain current programming and software development skills.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Mandatory experience with ServiceNow SaaS.
- Ability to analyze software requirements and convert them into feasible designs.
- Experience with coding, software testing, validation automation, debugging, maintenance, and performance improvement.
- Ability to document technical solutions and prepare accurate project, status, and MIS reports.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff.
- Strong customer communication and service orientation, including professional email, voice-call, and fault-tracking interactions.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, learn new programming languages, and complete relevant certifications.
