Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support scalable digital platform features and services.
- Deliver high-quality, performant code following SOLID design principles.
- Build high-scale distributed systems and fault-tolerant services with strong operational insight.
- Guide coding best practices and contribute to the team’s strategic and technical direction.
- Mentor and coach junior software engineers on design, coding, and engineering practices.
- Work within a global Scrum team alongside software engineers, business analysts, product managers, cloud engineering, SRE, and architecture teams.
Requirements
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, concurrency, distributed computing, and cloud computing concepts.
- Strong experience with .NET and C# and ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure Service Fabric, Blob Storage, Service Bus, and Event Hubs.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript and distributed programming protocols such as SignalR and gRPC.
- Experience with messaging and caching technologies, including Service Bus and Redis.
- Experience with unit testing, continuous integration and deployment, and test automation.
- Experience developing microservices and using AI tooling to enhance software development.
- Strong English communication skills, including technical documentation and verbal communication.
- Ability to mentor and grow junior developers and work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
