Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and operate scalable cloud-native SaaS services for Secure Workload Access.
  • Build secure and reliable components for workload authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement.
  • Integrate services with Kubernetes, cloud providers, identity systems, and PKI solutions.
  • Improve the scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational efficiency of owned services.
  • Review code, mentor engineers, and share technical knowledge.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and improve operational readiness.
  • Contribute to testing, documentation, code quality, and other engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience, including software design and implementation.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing backend systems and distributed services in Golang.
  • Solid experience building and operating SaaS software.
  • Understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and service-to-service communication.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and the broader cloud-native ecosystem.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
  • Preferred: familiarity with networking, encryption, PKI, JWT/SVID technologies, and/or SPIFFE/SPIRE.
  • Preferred: experience running production systems with high standards for reliability, performance, and security.
  • Preferred: familiarity with logging, monitoring, tracing, and debugging practices.
