Responsibilities

  • Own and guide the technical direction of agent identity, authentication, authorization, and secrets-management platform domains.
  • Design architectures spanning multiple services and teams while balancing scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement high-impact systems, mentor engineers, and guide complex technical tradeoffs.
  • Identify critical technical problems and drive solutions from concept through delivery.
  • Establish engineering best practices for code quality, security, and operational excellence.
  • Communicate technical concepts, influence decisions, coordinate cross-team collaboration, and document key architectural patterns and practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of backend and systems experience with end-to-end ownership of large-scale or security-critical systems.
  • Experience designing and operating secure, scalable, and reliable distributed cloud architectures.
  • Comfort working with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience or strong interest in identity, authentication, authorization, and secrets management, with an interest in applying them to AI and agent frameworks.
  • Ability to make high-impact technical decisions, navigate ambiguity, communicate clearly, influence stakeholders, and mentor engineers.
