Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Dynamics 365 FSCM extensions using X++ and Microsoft extension patterns.
  • Customize forms, tables, data entities, classes, workflows, business events, batch jobs, and related extensions while preserving upgradeability.
  • Build and maintain integrations using OData, REST APIs, Data Management Framework entities, business events, custom services, batch patterns, and Dual-write/Dataverse integration.
  • Integrate the ERP platform with middleware and external systems such as MuleSoft, SAP, payment platforms, portals, mobile applications, and reporting platforms.
  • Develop SSRS, electronic reporting, financial, and Power BI-ready reports and optimize queries, joins, indexes, filters, and batch processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, production defects, integration failures, and upgrade or regression risks.
  • Perform unit testing, peer reviews, technical impact assessments, release readiness checks, and production support.
  • Use Azure DevOps for work items, source control, pull requests, build and release pipelines, deployment coordination, and environment management.
  • Support ERP module configuration and parameterization across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, Sales, Supply Chain, manufacturing, tax, integrations, and security.
  • Prepare technical specifications, deployment notes, test evidence, release documentation, and support handover materials while collaborating with functional, QA, DevOps, product, and architecture teams.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of backend or ERP development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics 365 FSCM technical development.
  • Strong hands-on X++ development experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Finance & Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with ERP data models, entities, business processes, transaction flows, extension-based customization, event handlers, Chain of Command, services, batch frameworks, security roles, and deployment packages.
  • Strong experience designing and consuming OData and REST APIs, with experience in Data Management Framework, custom services, business events, and batch integration patterns.
  • Experience developing SSRS reports and writing efficient queries for reporting, reconciliation, analytics, and data extraction.
  • Practical Azure DevOps experience with repositories, branches, pull requests, work items, build pipelines, and release pipelines.
  • Ability to diagnose and optimize slow queries, batch jobs, reports, and integrations, while maintaining upgrade compatibility and least-privilege security design.
  • Experience delivering ERP integrations, customizations, reports, and production support in a multi-module ERP environment.
  • Experience working in agile delivery teams using Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate certification or equivalent demonstrable experience is preferred.
  • Azure Developer, Azure Fundamentals, or Power Platform Fundamentals certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with Dual-write, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power BI datasets or data models, Azure integration services, multi-company or multi-country ERP rollouts, and Dynamics AX 2012 upgrades is advantageous.
