Responsibilities
- Build and prototype full-stack AI/ML applications and agentic systems on Cloudera.
- Work directly with strategic customers to advance AI use cases from prototype to production readiness.
- Advise customer leaders on AI roadmaps, solution design, deployment, and use cases.
- Design scalable enterprise AI architectures aligned with security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Codify successful solutions into reference architectures, productized solutions, starter kits, and internal playbooks.
- Share customer and field insights with Product teams to improve AI platforms and products.
- Mentor Cloudera teams and contribute to internal AI enablement resources.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade systems, including 2–4 years building ML systems or GenAI/agentic applications.
- Strong hands-on software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills with full-stack ML or agentic systems experience.
- Experience with foundation models, context engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices including evaluation, observability, serving, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Experience designing scalable AI solution architectures for enterprise environments.
- Ability to engage technical and executive customer audiences and translate needs into technical strategy.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Experience with Cloudera, open source big data technologies, and AI infrastructure or runtime technologies is preferred.
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in a related field, or equivalent experience.
