Responsibilities
- Design agentic data interfaces for AI agents to discover and use data products.
- Build MCP-compatible endpoints, tools, and APIs for AI/data access.
- Develop data agents that reason over metadata, semantics, and policies.
- Make data products AI-ready across various formats and models.
- Establish safe query and action flows with governance checks.
- Work on retrieval, semantic search, and context construction.
- Define reusable patterns for agent-readable metadata and outputs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on AI/data use cases.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data engineering and enterprise data infrastructure.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled data systems and retrieval systems.
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and metadata systems.
- Experience with agentic interfaces and AI backends.
- Understanding of data governance and access control.
- Ability to build reliable and observable production systems.
- Strong Python skills and experience with backend services.
- Product-minded judgment for developing reusable capabilities.
