Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures for mission-critical control systems, including data gathering, processing, visualization, and BMS/EPMS control platforms.
  • Define architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices for mission-critical data center solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet availability, resilience, latency, scalability, security, and performance requirements.
  • Integrate infrastructure, applications, OT systems, and monitoring tools into unified mission-control environments.
  • Collaborate with clients, customers, consulting engineers, and vendors to ensure interoperability.
  • Oversee vendor-platform integration and guide development of mission-critical solutions.
  • Translate operational needs into technical solutions and lead design reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle and support deployment, testing, and go-live.
  • Embed monitoring, alerting, and incident-response capabilities into solutions.
  • Validate delivered solutions against approved architecture designs and troubleshoot complex system and integration issues.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to performance, automation, observability, and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with monitoring, control systems, or real-time data platforms.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Architect, or similar professional.
  • Knowledge of mission-critical environments using PLCs and SCADA.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell and Ignition software.
  • EPMS software knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of systems integration across BMS and EPMS and of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to design for high availability and resilience and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Architecture or cloud certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to travel 30–50%.
