Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end full-stack applications with backend systems, APIs, frontend interfaces, and AI integrations.
- Integrate third-party APIs, large language models, vector databases, and other AI services into production applications.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and models and make trade-offs among accuracy, latency, cost, and effectiveness.
- Architect data flows for AI pipelines and optimize application performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor application performance, debug production issues, and iterate systems based on real-world usage patterns.
- Collaborate across disciplines to translate business requirements into technical implementations and improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Own delivery from concept through deployment and mentor others on engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally with exposure to AI solutions or modern AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience building applications across multiple technology layers using modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Experience with backend and frontend frameworks, databases, system architecture, API design, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience integrating third-party APIs, services, AI tools, large language models, vector databases, or other AI services into production applications.
- Experience with version control, testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and at least one major cloud platform.
- Hands-on familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to experiment with AI models and tools and make pragmatic trade-offs between accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Experience monitoring application performance, debugging production issues, writing maintainable code, and mentoring others.
- Capital Markets, financial-services, banking, regulated-environment, model-risk, or data-governance experience is preferred.
- Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges and collaborate effectively in geographically distributed, multidisciplinary teams.
