Responsibilities

Design event-driven, cloud-native microservices using distributed-systems design patterns.
Define bounded contexts, system boundaries, and single-responsibility services aligned to business domains.
Design and enforce API-first inter-service contracts using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
Implement decentralized data management in which each service owns its datastore.
Design resilience through retries, timeouts, bulkheads, and distributed tracing.
Drive Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and tracing across services.
Provide technical leadership, documentation, and cross-team communication to promote microservices best practices.

Typically 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3–5 years focused on distributed systems and microservices.
Deep backend expertise with Java/Spring Boot, Go, Python, or Node.js.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
Knowledge of zero-trust architectures, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and API gateways.
Strong technical leadership, documentation, and cross-team communication skills.
