Base Salary
$191k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship reusable frontend components and full-stack features for the build and deployment platform.
- Contribute to backend systems and define clean API boundaries for cohesive end-to-end experiences.
- Support deployment workflow orchestration, progressive rollouts across clusters and regions, automated rollback, and deployment health observability.
- Translate Kubernetes, Argo Rollouts, and deployment policies into intuitive interfaces for engineers.
- Conduct user interviews, gather feedback, and improve internal developer release workflows.
- Raise engineering quality through code reviews, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and improve platform reliability.
- Lead projects end-to-end and drive impact across the deployment infrastructure platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building full-stack applications with strong frontend expertise.
- Deep proficiency in modern frontend development and component-based frameworks such as React or Lit.
- Solid backend experience with API design, service boundaries, and system architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD, build systems such as Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or Drone, and progressive delivery tools such as Argo Workflows, Argo Rollouts, Argo CD, or Kayenta.
- Familiarity with Temporal, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
- Strong communication, ownership, initiative, empathy, curiosity, and ability to work independently in ambiguity.
- Preferred experience includes developer experience, infrastructure, platform, CI/CD, progressive delivery, internal developer platforms, user research, UI/UX implementation, Figma, GraphQL, REST, HTTP, gRPC, Go, multi-cluster or multi-region deployment strategies, and generative AI for developer workflows.
