Base Salary
$109k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering support for active safety, advanced driver assistance systems, and unmanned ground vehicle system and subsystem design projects.
- Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards and manage project administration, schedules, budgets, and priorities as assigned.
- Manage CI/CD tools and design build, deployment, configuration-management, and infrastructure-provisioning solutions for IoT systems.
- Design and run robotic-system tests, including hardware performance and reliability testing and regression testing between software and firmware releases.
- Build automation tools, handle deployments across environments, monitor metrics, and improve development and delivery processes.
- Provide technical guidance, educate team members, consult with peers during testing, and document engineering and operational processes.
- Perform complex software development, architecture design, engineering calculations, investigations, and related engineering tasks.
Requirements
- An accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
- Five or more years of related experience are required.
- Preferred education includes an accredited bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Preferred experience includes software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations for hardware or physical systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python is preferred.
- Experience with Linux infrastructure, SQL databases, CI/CD tools, and scripting such as JavaScript is preferred.
- The role requires complex problem solving, technical judgment, project ownership, communication, and the ability to guide the work of others.
