Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze user and client requirements and create software requirements specification documents.
- Write, implement, and enhance source code for embedded systems.
- Test and debug embedded software using available tools and methods to improve code quality and system performance.
- Develop automotive communication software using CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.
- Create unit and integration test plans.
- Collaborate with other teams to provide post-production support.
- Plan, organize, and lead large, complex projects with diverse project teams.
- Provide technical leadership and communicate technical information effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in EEE, ECE, E&I, or an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
- 12+ years of development experience in the infotainment domain.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing automotive communication protocols using CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.
- Experience with electronics and embedded product development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C and C++ software development.
- Experience developing Embedded Linux and RTOS application software using operating-system features.
- Experience with IDEs and debugging tools.
- Experience developing unit and integration test plans.
- Strong knowledge of Embedded C, C++, VC++, XML processing, OpenGL, Win32 API, MFC, socket programming, TCP, and UDP.
- Strong technical leadership, project management, analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead large, complex projects with diverse teams.
