Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Linux device drivers and platform software.
- Lead board bring-up, U-Boot bootloader integration, and power-on boot flows.
- Port, integrate, and upstream kernel drivers and support OS and kernel upgrades.
- Develop bare-metal and kernel drivers for peripherals and subsystems.
- Perform system-level debugging using JTAG, J-Link, and lab equipment.
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and systems teams to resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux kernel development and device drivers.
- Proficiency in C programming for kernel and systems software.
- Deep understanding of SoC architecture, multicore systems, NUMA, and memory hierarchies.
- Hands-on experience with GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet, storage, and DDR drivers.
- Expertise in kernel subsystems including scheduling, memory management, IPC, DMA, and interrupts.
- Experience with board schematics, hardware bring-up, and hardware-software integration.
- Familiarity with Yocto or Buildroot, Git, and system-level Linux debugging.
- Knowledge of multimedia, display, GPU drivers, OpenGL, or OpenCL is a plus.
