Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for demanding cross-functional Inventory and Promise projects.
- Architect and build new backend services, distributed systems, and machine learning pipelines.
- Design scalable, performant, highly available, and fault-tolerant enterprise systems.
- Decompose complex technical problems into straightforward solutions.
- Mentor engineers and support career development across the technical community.
- Influence multiple teams to improve productivity and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of backend software development experience.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining highly available distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with scalable distributed systems, machine learning algorithms, backend architecture, message-oriented architecture, full-stack production systems, monitoring, stream processing, caching, storage, and horizontal scaling.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Spark-Streaming, AWS, Java, Scala, and Python.
- Experience in eCommerce supply-chain systems involving inventory and promise is preferred.
