Responsibilities
- Lead and improve enterprise security operations across endpoints, SaaS, cloud, corporate networks, and remote access solutions.
- Develop and tune detections, alerts, and automated response workflows across SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms.
- Build and maintain automation for operational security workflows and response processes.
- Partner with Engineering and IT to improve monitoring, logging, and incident response readiness.
- Perform SaaS security reviews, enforce controls, and maintain continuous monitoring.
- Develop hardening standards, configuration reviews, and enterprise security architecture improvements.
- Define and implement security controls and governance for AI tools, workflows, and integrations.
- Support investigations, incident response, remediation, vendor security reviews, standards, documentation, and operational playbooks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
- Hands-on experience integrating new data sources into SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Google Chronicle.
- Experience with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Experience with detection engineering, threat hunting, investigations, incident response, and security remediation.
- Experience with identity platforms such as Okta.
- Strong understanding of networking, enterprise infrastructure, identity and access management, and SaaS security.
- Experience with AI security, LLM governance, or securing AI-enabled workflows.
- Experience scripting or automating with Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern enterprise environments.
- A BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include identity-platform administration certifications, experience with SOX, PCI, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 controls, and knowledge of GDPR or CCPA.
