Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure automation projects, owning architecture, delivery, and outcomes.
- Design enterprise-grade architectures spanning multi-system integrations, event-driven workflows, and infrastructure provisioning pipelines.
- Provision cloud accounts and services, automate CI/CD pipelines, and enforce security best practices for new projects.
- Design and automate infrastructure processes to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions and communicate trade-offs to technical and executive audiences.
- Drive cross-functional project execution by anticipating risks, removing blockers, and maintaining delivery quality.
- Build and enhance tools for managing and monitoring cloud services and resources used by Product, Marketing, and Field teams.
- Mentor peer engineers through design reviews, hands-on coaching, and knowledge transfer.
- Set technical standards for solution design, documentation, governance, and continuous learning.
- Evaluate and adopt technologies, tools, and Workato features to improve automation and infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience delivering end-to-end automation and cloud infrastructure projects through production deployment.
- Experience managing complete project lifecycles, including scoping, architecture, stakeholder alignment, delivery, and post-launch iteration.
- Track record delivering complex, multi-system integrations across Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders.
- Production experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure automation across AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with iPaaS, workflow automation, or low-code/no-code integration platforms; Workato experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices at the team level is preferred.
- Workato platform certification or demonstrated advanced proficiency is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise process orchestration and systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Workday, NetSuite, and Salesforce is preferred.
- Cloud platform certifications, enterprise architecture and solution design experience, security automation, policy-as-code, cloud governance, and API/connector integrations are preferred.
