Base Salary
$70k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable Kinetica database solutions.
- Develop complex SQL queries and Python User-Defined Functions to support application requirements and data-processing logic.
- Perform advanced Kinetica query and data-structure tuning and optimization for real-time processing.
- Use Kinetica APIs and native features including geospatial analysis, graph analytics, GSQL, and time-series functions.
- Design and manage data models and schemas and oversee data ingestion pipelines into Kinetica.
- Collaborate with data scientists, application developers, and business analysts to provide database solutions.
- Administer, monitor, and manage security for Kinetica databases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in database development.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Kinetica DB.
- In-depth knowledge of Kinetica’s in-memory, GPU-accelerated architecture.
- Proven expertise in Kinetica performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience developing Python User-Defined Functions and handling time-series data.
- Proficiency in Kinetica administration, monitoring, and security management.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
