Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for a high-performing banking project.
- Work with Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, JPA, microservices architecture, and software design patterns.
- Contribute to software design and architecture decisions.
- Work with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and other databases.
- Participate in a mandatory rotating on-call schedule, approximately one full week every three to four months, to resolve critical incidents.
- Collaborate on API design and specification where needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced J2EE, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka expertise.
- Experience with Java 8 or later, microservices architecture, functional programming, JPA, and software design and architecture patterns.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity or working experience with testing methodologies such as TDD or BDD.
- Basic knowledge of API design and specification using OpenAPI 3/OAS3 is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of reactive programming is highly valued.
- Minimum B2-level English proficiency.
