Responsibilities
- Mentor Integrations Software engineers and Junior Developers and support their professional growth.
- Lead research, design, implementation, and documentation of API concepts for product modernization.
- Develop cloud-native applications using Spring frameworks and tools in containers on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to and maintain development API processes with a focus on quality and domain best practices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and train the team on resolving pipeline issues.
- Promote automation, software quality, documentation, and relevant internal processes and tools.
- Communicate with architects, lead developers, QA, and the broader technical community about architectural deficiencies and gaps.
- Participate in task specification and estimation and perform analysis and design of complex solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Informatics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring REST, and Spring Security.
- At least 3 years of experience writing RESTful web services and understanding REST architecture.
- Experience developing microservice applications running in containers on Kubernetes.
- Deep knowledge of computer algorithms and data structures and excellent programming skills.
- Good understanding of software engineering processes and relevant business and technology domains.
- Ability to work autonomously, perform technical analysis and design with significant latitude, and document solutions, ideas, and processes.
- Advanced degrees and relevant technology certifications are preferred.
- Very good written and spoken English.
