Responsibilities
- Create, design, deploy, maintain, and support software applications and solutions.
- Develop Java/J2EE backend applications and frontend experiences using Angular, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Develop and work with REST APIs using Spring Boot.
- Participate in research, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, and other software-product activities.
- Collaborate with business partners, product management, application development, DevOps, and other technical groups to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks through completion and contribute to design discussions and end-to-end application functionality.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of related experience.
- Seven or more years of active development experience with Java/J2EE applications.
- Expertise with Hibernate, Spring, and Spring MVC.
- Strong frontend experience with Angular, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Experience with web-based user interfaces and Java backend development.
- Experience with Spring Boot, AWS technologies, databases, and PL/SQL; Oracle and PostgreSQL are preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices-based architecture, distributed systems, and Agile development methodology.
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled development tools such as Kiro, Amazon Q, and Copilot.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Python, messaging, ETL, or reporting-tool experience is a plus.
