Responsibilities
- Lay the foundational framework for systems modernization.
- Gather requirements with product owners, business users, and subject matter experts and collaborate with architects on system design.
- Develop and review code using automated unit testing and established coding best practices.
- Collaborate with testing teams to identify and remediate defects before production release.
- Provide ongoing post-deployment maintenance and support.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies through scripting, programming, and automation.
- Follow established procedures, mitigate risk, identify errors, and demonstrate strong ethical behavior.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and contribute creative solutions to improve technology offerings.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong Java and related technology experience, including J2EE, Spring, Struts, JUnit, and Hibernate.
- Strong expertise in Oracle and AI tools.
- Strong UI technology experience with Angular, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSP.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud services such as Lambda, S3, and EC2.
- Familiarity with Kafka and MQ is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and API design.
- Experience with Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and Fortify.
- Understanding of secure coding, security tools, Linux, Windows servers, and Portal applications is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
