Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable cloud-based post-trade market infrastructure services.
- Contribute across the product engineering lifecycle, including solutioning, technical design, coding, testing, and delivery.
- Build and maintain event-driven microservices and enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Develop RESTful services and integrate blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems.
- Apply engineering principles, quality standards, collaboration, and constructive technical challenge across the team.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams in scaled agile environments.
Requirements
- Advanced Java experience, including Java 17 or later, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and multithreading.
- Practical experience with Spring Boot, REST design, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Spring REST MVC.
- Strong understanding of microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, containerization, and orchestration.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps pipelines, and preferably GitLab.
- Experience with shift-left testing using JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin, PACT, and Test Containers.
- Experience with Kafka, MQ, SQL, Postgres, AWS S3, Flyway, and Liquibase.
- Experience with public cloud architecture, preferably AWS, including AWS Aurora, MSK, S3, IAM, and cloud networking.
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, interoperability protocols, cross-chain communication, bridging technologies, cryptographic standards, key management, token standards, and transaction lifecycles.
- Experience integrating blockchain solutions with enterprise systems.
- Experience working with Scrum, Kanban, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional teams in scaled agile environments.
- Strong logical, technical, collaborative, communicative, accountable, and delivery-focused approach.
