Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable event-driven microservices and enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Contribute across solutioning, technical design, coding, testing, and the broader product engineering lifecycle.
- Build and maintain DevOps pipelines and apply shift-left testing practices.
- Integrate blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems, including interoperability and cross-chain capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Scrum, Kanban, and scaled agile environments.
- Promote engineering excellence, code quality, transparency, ownership, and constructive technical challenge.
Requirements
- Strong experience with advanced Java, Java 17+ features, object-oriented programming, concurrency, multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures, including Domain-Driven Design, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MQ.
- Experience developing RESTful services using REST design principles, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Spring REST MVC.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases such as Postgres, object storage, database version control, and cloud services including AWS, AWS Aurora, MSK, S3, and IAM.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines and testing tools including GitLab, JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin, PACT, and Test Containers.
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, interoperability protocols, cross-chain communication, bridging technologies, cryptographic standards, key management, token standards, and transaction lifecycles.
- Experience collaborating in Scrum, Kanban, sprint ceremonies, and scaled agile environments.
- Strong delivery focus, accountability, communication, adaptability, and commitment to engineering quality.
